Koku Anyidoho gets support from John Mahama’s Boy For Mindset Transformation Revolution

The Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram Sam George has underscored the need for Ghanaians to unite in developing the country and stop politicizing everything.

His call is coming at a time a former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho has called for ‘’Mindset Transformation Revolution”.

Koku Anyidoho made the point when in an interview with Kwabena Agyapong on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm Friday.

Koku Anyidoho added there must a conscious mindset revolution in dealing with the challenges confronting the nation.

He wants Ghanaians to say no to politicasters an unstatesmanlike practitioner of politics : a petty or contemptible politician timorous, trimming politicasters, all for the party without thought of the state) and start a civic revolution to help the country transform.

In that regard, he wants the NCCE to take charge of this agenda because it is the civic education that will empower the mind.

Speaking on a similar topic the legislator told Accra based Citi Fm that    “Ghana needs a national identity. Because we don’t have a national identity, we are swayed by the wind. Ask an American or British what it means to be [the dream of their country] and they know it. Ask a Ghanaian what it means to be a Ghanaian, we just don’t know. We have no identity and because we have no identity, we are tossed by the wind. We used to be the shinning star of Africa, because Nkrumah gave us an identity. There was an indoctrination that made us Ghanaians. Today if you ask any Ghanaian what makes them a Ghanaian, they don’t know – may be corruption.’’

“We have a beautiful system in the country just that politics is too much. Things that we are to move quickly with, we have to play politics with them. So for instance, if I get to a car park and there is a security man who allows me to park at an authorized place before he asks me to move, I won’t because it’s a dereliction of duty. It happens everywhere, you go to the hospital and the nurses sit there, you need to bribe someone before you get your file or there is someone in an office who wants you to give him money before he gets the work done”, he said.

The MINDSET TRANSFORMATION agenda is being championed by the former deputy scribe in order to build a Better Ghana
