NDC former organizer slams Muslim Youth over reckless motor riding on Eid day

Former National Deputy Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Mahdi Jibril, has described yesterday’s rampant motor accident on section of roads in Accra as reckless and impatience on the side of the Muslim youth.

Some of our Muslim brothers choose to block some of the parts of our roads which the Carprice road was not in exception. Some chiefs living in some Muslim community displayed their pride riding on horses with their followers chanting songs.

‘Yesterday’s Eld festival was too much, four children had an accident on the Graphic road and in fact the inconvenience they created for motorists especially on the Carprice road was despicable,’he said.’

‘Our youth were riding on motor bikes recklessly yesterday, which portray that Muslims are in nature are that type which the Quran talks against,’ this he stressed’.

Commenting on the Bole incident he said: ‘The unfortunate shootout at Bole is an act we must all come out to vehemently condemn. That and the reckless motor riding activities tarnished the image of Islam.

Speaking to Kwabena Agyapong on Rainbow Radio 87.5 FM, he also touched on the Ghana Beyond Aid charter document which had its cover designed with a Kenyan architectural building which has raised a lot of controversies as a section of Ghanaians calling for unqualified apology from the gentleman who designed it.

”How can we embarrass ourselves this way when Ghana had some nice buildings like the National Communications Authority’s building among others.  In fact this is one of the laziest approach to just goggle, pick any building.

Concluding, he described the supposed heckling of President Akufo-Addo by a woman activist as disrespectful and needless while the president was on official visit in Canada.
