NDC PREZ PRIMARY: Voting Over In Bodi Constituency, Mahama takes the lead

Voting has ended at the Bodi constituency in the ongoing presidential primary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Counting has been done but the Electoral Commission (EC) has officially not declared the results.

The EC is awaiting the close of polls to officially declare the results. .

Of the seven candidates contesting, Mr Goosie Tanoh, a businessman, had 7 votes.

Former President John Dramani Mahama, polled 608 votes: Professor Joshua Alabi, a former Vice Chancellor of the University of Professional Studies and Mr Alban Sumanu Bagbin, Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament polled 9/and 5 votes respectively.

The rest, Mr Ekwow Spio-Garbrah, a Former Minister of Education and Trade, had 4 votes; Mr Sylvester Mensah, a former Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority and Alhaji Nurudeen Iddrisu, a businessman had 3 and 2 votes respectively.
