Nudity, bad publicity stunt will not make you a star-Root Eye slams

The host of award-winning GH Entertainment, Root Eye has bemoaned the use of negativity, nudity and bad publicity by upcoming artistes.

The host on Saturday said the challenge was gaining grounds and he felt it will not augur well for the entertainment industry if not curtailed.

Root Eye believes talented artistes and other creative minds could become popular mainly through their creativity and not necessarily being negative.

He said some upcoming artistes have resorted to the use of bad news, nudity and other bad publicity stunts to get the attention of the media in order to make them popular.

He challenged such persons to desist from doing that since such acts would only make them popular for only a short period.

He encouraged the media to desist from giving attention to such persons and rather focus on promoting people who are working tirelessly to make themselves known.

On his part, Togo Borga who is a panelist on the show supported the host and stressed on the need for media to focus on talents that are working hard instead of projecting mediocrity.

He said the media must be responsible and support great talents instead if those who use social media to project irrelevant contents.
