The Ghana Police Service has announced a ransom of GH₵30,000 for anyone who will volunteer information that will lead to the arrest of the killers of investigative journalist with Tiger Eye PI, Mr Ahmed Hussein-Suale and the Marketing and Corporate Affairs manager of Tema Port, Mrs Josephine Asante.
The Inspector General of Police David Asante-Appeatu at the CID headquarters disclosed this today [Friday] when the Interior Minister Ambrose Dery paid a courtesy call on the police over the recent killings of some prominent Ghanaians.
“The police will not rest until we get people who are killing other citizens are brought to book; we have a mandate to protect the people of this country and we will ensure that people who are disturbing the peace of the country are dealt with according to the law,” he said.
He reiterated the need for the public to volunteer any information that could assit the police to unravel the truth surrounding the deaths.
He assured the public the police will not leave any stone unturned in arresting the offenders behind the gruesome murders.
