The Sandama for Christ Crusade has successfully been organised in the Builsa North of the Upper East Region of Ghana.
The crusade, which was organised by the Sandema Local Council of Churches, saw thousands of people attending.
Speaking at the crusade, Bishop Dr Samuel Addo, the President of Samuel Addo Gospel Outreach who doubles as the founder of Crossover Chapel International underscored the need for Christians to remember that they would account for their deeds someday.
Making reference to Hebrews 9:27, the man of God said it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgement.
‘’We should therefore not forget that we will account for our deeds. We have to live a life that is devoid of sinful pleasures, hatred, greed and other evil vices. We have to embrace God and do his will so we are able to give good account of ourselves when we appear before the judgement throne.’’
On his part, the District Chief Executive of Builsa North, Mr David Afoko Amoabil, said politics should be a service to mankind and God; and so I will encourage Christians in politics to serve their people and should never forget they are Christians.
Patrons at the crusade commended the organizers and asked God to shower his blessings on them so they will be able to replicate the crusade in other communities in order to win more souls for God’s kingdom.
The event was organised from January 29-February 1, 2019.
