‘Shatta Wale is a bad influence; he’s making the youth sell cocaine & weed’-Chief

The chief of Ngleshie Amanfrom, Nii Kwashie Gborbilor IV has described Shatta Wale as a bad influence on the youth.

Speaking in an interview with Kwabena Agyapong on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, he said the self-acclaimed dancehall king does not have a positive impact on your hence would not entertain him.

He was reacting to what led to the violence that marred the launch of the Shatta Movement Fun Club over the weekend.

He said the movement would not be entertained because a similar one launched in James Town has led the youth in the area astray with the majority of them smoking weed and peddling of hard drugs such as cocaine.

According to him, he does not want the youth in his area to be influenced in such a negative manner hence would not entertain the artiste in the area.

Narrating why the said event was marred by violence, he said Shatta Wale’s father was carrying himself as the chief of the area when he (Kwashie Gborlor IV) has been gazetted as the chief of the area.

He stressed on the need for the security agencies to take the issue up before it escalates.
