A communications team member with the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana K, has sent a caution to individuals plotting to get Mr Isaac Crentsil of the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), out of office to desist from their evil plot.
Appearing on Frontline today [Thursday], Nana K said, a grand scheme is being orchestrated by some persons to get the man removed from office for no apparent reason.
He warned, ‘’so far as some of us are concerned, Mr Crentsil will not be removed from office. He has done nothing wrong to warrant his removal from office.’’
He is alleging that the persons orchestrating the removal of Mr Crentsil, are doing so because he has become a stumbling block for their corrupt deals.
‘’There are some people plotting his removal so they would have the opportunity to go and occupy his position, in order for them to continue executing their corrupt deals.’’
Although he did not provide further details, he has promised to name and shame the persons behind the agenda, should they continue with their evil agenda.
He went on to allege that, some individuals are also plotting to tarnish the image of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), Dr. KK Sarpong.
The diligence and desire by Dr Sarpong to ensure the right things are done, has created a cabal of persons who want to see his downfall, he added.
He said, the credibility of KK Sarpong, his track record is unquestionable.
Reacting to a story that suggested the GNPC under Dr. Sarpong ordered an urgent transfer of $7.5 million to a company he once worked for last year, he said the man is clean, was not p[art of the decision by the board but he is being accused falsely.
The NPP communicator who was worried at the attempt by some individuals to discredit Dr. KK Sarpong admonished the NPP to tread cautiously as some faceless persons were bent on tarnishing the image of appointees of President Akufo-Addo.
