Watch night services affected our sales-Sex workers lament

Some female sex workers at Budumburam in the Central region have lamented over poor sales on Monday December 31, 2018.

Speaking to Rainbow Radio’s Nana Yaw Asare, the sex workers said activities of churches and the organisation of watch night services, affected their business.

According to them, almost all their customers went to church on Monday hence could not patronise their services.

They have therefore expressed strong optimism and hope the new year will present greater opportunities and improved services.

Nana Yaw Asare told Nyankonton Mu Nsem that the sex workers could not make enough sales Monday evening but they are sure of good sales today (Tuesday).

In a related development, some residents who he caught with in separate bars said they were drinking their hearts out in joy for making into the new year.

One person who spoke to him said, ” I went to church on Monday but I am here today drinking. I gave to God want belongs to God on Monday and so I am here to drink and break few bottles for the new year and new beginnings.”

Another person said, my brother spoke the truth. We are here to break few bottles and make merry for being part of those who made it into the new year. I am happy because I was able to achieve my resolutions for 2018 and I look forward to a fruitful 2019.”
