We’II rebuild & redeem Ghana through a mindset revolution with our brains & not guns-Anyidoho

A former Deputy Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho, has reiterated the need for Ghanaians to have a change of mindset if they want Ghana to develop.

He told Kwabena Agyapong on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that Ghana would have to be changed through a revolution of mindset.

He said the revolution of mindset is not going to be through the use of guns but “we will use our brains to help Ghana develop”.

He said there should be a group of people who are willing to help rebuild Ghana through the revolution of the mindset he has called for.

Koku Anyidoho said: “we have to redeem and rebuild this nation. We will rebuild Ghana not with guns but with our brains.”

He quizzed: “How can we grow the nation if we continue to operate with a dead mindset? If we keep the same mindset which cannot positively affect the destiny of the nation, then our heads are nothing but a burden on our necks.”

He stressed on the need for the public to embrace his ‘Mindset Transformation’ in order to help free ourselves from mental slavery.

He said: ” Some of us are not ready to see Mother Ghana die, and so the Mindset Transformation Revolution is not about to abate until we successfully rebuild and re-tool the psyche of the nation and get us out of this gloom and doom.”

Making reference to the different coups hat hit the nation some years ago, he said these military interventions were carried out because some people felt the system was corrupt and needed change.

But after 62 years of our democracy, what have we achieved as a nation? We need to have that change of mindset and rebuild this country so we do not reach a point where things will explode in our faces, he added.

He described politicians who have self-interest as politicasters and with unstatesmanlike practitioners of politics: a petty or contemptible politician timorous, trimming politicasters, all for the party without thought of the state.

He said there was the need for Ghanaians to refine the political space to help make Ghana a proud country.
