We’ve contributed to 70% of Ghana’s growth-NDC


A National Vice Chairperson of the largest opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC), Shirley Ayitey has stated that the party has contributed 70% of Ghana’s development.

Speaking at the 27th-anniversary launch at the party headquarters in Accra, Madam Ayitey added that since 27 years of the establishment of the NDC, it has contributed immensely to the growth if the country and would do more to serve the country.

She gave an assurance of the party’s commitment and loyalty to serve its members and the nation at large.

She called on the National Security Agencies to stop the intimidation and harassment of their National Chairman, Mr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo.

The theme for the 27th anniversary is “Revitalizing the NDC for Victory 2020; Targeting Effective Branch Organization”.

The anniversary program starts from 10th – 22nd June 2019

The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of NDC, Mr. Ade Coker on behalf of all the Regional Chairpersons across the country urged the members of the party to unite and be well organized for victory 2020.

He further called on the members to be strong so people will not abuse their rights.

He also called on the members to take the branch levels serious because elections are won at the branch levels.

The Party is a Social Democratic Party that believes in the equality and the egalitarian treatment of all persons with respect to their social, cultural, educational, political, religious and economic relations in a Multi-party environment.

The NDC remains deeply committed to the principles and values of Social Democracy As Social Democrats, it has subscribed to a compassionate political philosophy that seeks to create opportunities for all to develop to their fullest potential.

In the view, if the NDC, our pursuit of economic prosperity for all Ghanaians can best be achieved through appropriate regulation and strategic investments.
