Come out & vote but do it peacefully-Prez

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has admonished all eligible voters to come out in their numbers and vote tomorrow, December 7, 2020.

He promised to ensure the election would be organized without any form of intimidation.

He said Ghanaians will go to the polls to elect a president and 275 MPs representing the 8th election we will organize in the country.

The president addressing Ghanaians on Sunday, December 6, 2020, stated he is fortified that the polls would be peaceful.

He indicated the EC has assured Ghanaians it will conduct credible polls.

He asked Ghanaians to ensure that the polls would be accepted by parties contesting.

He also asked Ghanaians to adhere strictly to the safety protocols following the outbreak of the coronavirus.

He was hopeful Ghana will organize a successful election despite the covid-19 just like other countries have done.

The security agencies he added have assured him they will carry out their duties without fear nor favour.

The president said the entire world is looking up to Ghana as the beacon of democracy to go through the polls peacefully.
