The incumbent Member of Parliament for Cape Coast North, Barbara Asher Ayisi has lost her seat to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Per provisional results available, the Deputy Minister of Education in charge of TVET lost to Dr Kwamina Minta Nyarku who got 22,972 as against Barbara Ayisi’s 21,643.
In the presidential rac,e however, the NPP’s Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led with 24,360 as against John Dramani Mahama’s 20,105.
