Sustainable development expert and political analyst Michael Ebo Amoah has said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) took certain things for granted hence the reason why they have lost several seats in parliament.
Speaking on the ‘Ballot Box’ on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm he indicated the party knew this will happen and yet, the party leadership hard to work on it and has let the president down.
He said even if the current president wins, the NDC will form the majority in parliament.
Mr. Ebo Amoah said he wouldn’t have believed if he was told the NDC was going to close the gap.
He chided the NPP for failing to deal with the galamsey issue holistically, a situation that has caused them dearly in the mining areas.
Meanwhile, he has also opined that former President John Dramani Mahama allowed the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to penetrate politically in the Northern region.
He advised the two political parties to hire the services of data professionals to analyze data for them especially when going into an election.
