The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate, Mr Yussif Mustapha has floored the Member of Parliament for Yagba/Kubori Constituency, Alhaji Ibrahim Rauf Tanko.
The NPP candidate won the race by polling 18,153 votes.
The incumbent got 9,393 votes.
Mr. Mustapha is the Chief Executive Officer of the National Service Secretariat (NSS).
A total of 28,342 votes were cast in the Parliamentary election with 728 rejected ballots.
