The National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s parliamentary candidate for the Odododiodio constituency, Nii Lante Vanderpuye has been arrested by the police over a shooting incident that occurred in the area.
Rainbow Radio’s Isaac Worlanyo Wallace reporting the incident said the MP has been accused of instigating the shooting incident near the Modark Hotel following a misunderstanding between the two main parties.
Six other young men have also been arrested.
According to his lawyers, no charges have been levelled against those arrested.
