The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has rejected the declared presidential election describing it as a flawed election.
The party says the Electoral Commission has in connivance with the government rigged the election and subverted the will of the people.
Addressing the press, Haruna Iddrisu, the Minority Leader said the party will not accept the results.
He said the NDC has evidence to show that the election was rigged.
According to him, in due time, the NDC’s presidential candidate will address Ghanaians on the outcome of the polls.
He also added the NDC will form the majority in parliament.
President Nana Akufo-Addo retained the seat to serve his second term.
Nana Akufo-Addo polled 6,730,413, representing 51.595% while John Mahama garnered 6, 214, 889 representing 47.366% in the 8th election in the 4th Republic that had a dozen candidates.
