The Majority Leader of Parliament Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu has admitted the next parliament will struggle when it comes to the formulation of laws in the next parliament.
The experienced MP said the House has lost experienced legislators who could have used their experience to help the House to enact laws to help develop the House.
Speaking on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, the MP said the next parliament would have to organize some capacity-building workshops for the new parliamentarians who would be sworn-in in the next parliament.
He told host Kwabena Agyapong it is sad and unfortunate that some of the best, knowledgeable, and experienced Legislators are not returning to the House.
Meanwhile, he has stated the NPP suffered a net loss as some of their best MPs lost in the parliamentary election.
At least 28 incumbent NPP legislators have lost their parliamentary seats in Monday’s elections.
