Midfielder of Accra Great Olympics Gladson Awako believes the club can have a slot in the top 4 this season.
According to him, this forms part of the players’ decision as they want to make a mark for themselves and their fan base.
Olympics have played 4 matches, lost 1, drawn 1, and won 2 which has placed them 5th on the league table.
In an interview with Isaac Worlanyo Wallace today on the Rainbow Sports, he said: “Traveling abroad to play football is every player’s dream so when the chance or the time comes he will make use of it.”
He added yes he was spotted with Maxwell Konadu which many have interpreted wrongly. In the capacity of the captain, Awako told rainbow sports that weren’t anything that could see him move to Kotoko but it is part of the football language.
Adding that, Maxwell just approached him to encourage him to continue the good fight after he was awarded the man of the match-he revealed.
Finally, when asked about his contribution to the national team he said” As a player in and outside Ghana it is your dream to play or wear the national colours to represent the nation so he is focused and when the time comes again he will accept the challenge and play his part.
