President Akufo-Addo has reiterated the need for Ghanaians to keep adhering to the safety protocols in reducing the spread of COVID-19.
He said the active cases have reduced marginally.
He said per data from Ghana Health Service some regions have no active cases.
Over 52, 000 recoveries have been recorded with the current death toll being 333.
The data he noted shows that the new cases are from work environments, schools, the airport, and facilities with poor ventilation.
He added Ghana will not be left behind in terms of the vaccine approved to be used in treating the virus.
He announced he has deployed a team who are working with the appropriate agencies to ensure Ghana gets the vaccine for the virus.
The president admonished event organizers to put in measures to prevent the spread of the virus as we approach roach the Christmas season.
Meanwhile, our borders, beaches, cinemas remain closed until further notice.
He made the remarks in his 20th address on the measures put in place by the government to prevent the spread of the virus.
