Armed security officials have prevented the Minority from entering the premises of the Electoral Commission (EC).
The Minority had earlier served notice it was marching to the EC in protest of what they described as flawed elections.
It is their argument that the declared results by the EC did not reflect or represent the true will of the people.
They also had plans of meeting the leadership of the EC to address the Techiman South parliamentary election which was declared in favour of the NPP’s Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah.
Reporting from the EC, Rainbow Radio’s Philomina Kuntu Blankson said the Minority is currently having a banter with the security personnel.
She disclosed the Member of Parliament for Odododiodoo constituency Nii Lante Vanderpuye has cautioned the EC to give them a hearing or they will not approve their budget.
The MP for Adaklu Constituency, Volta Region, Kwame Governs Agbodza said the government can use the military and police to prevent them from generating the office of the EC to present their petition but will not prevent her from the pain she will suffer.
According to him, the EC boss will not have peace in here heart until she confesses to rigging the elections.
The MP insisted the EC Chair allowed the government to manipulate her to steal the elections for President Akufo-Addo.
He said they are allowed to hold a peaceful demonstration but they have been molested by the security personnel at the orders of the president.
He described it as an insult for anyone to say they should have sought permission from the police before petitioning the EC.
