President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has extended his best wishes of the seasons to Ghanaians as we celebrate Christmas.
In his message to Ghanaians, the president said this year was filled with several highs and lows with Ghanaians making merry under restrictions due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Ghanaians he noted have good reasons to thank God that even in the face of the outbreak, we have been able to organize an election he described as transparent and credible.
President Akufo-Addo stated that our nation is united and at peace and continue to be a beacon of democracy on the continent.
“We in Ghana, have good reasons to be thankful to Almighty God for how far he has brought us. Our nation is united and at peace. We continue to be a beacon of democracy on the continent having conducted even in midst of the pandemic a transparent, free, fair, and credible, and safe general election which has been so adjudged by all impartial domestic and international observers.”
