May I choke to death if I’m lying that Hawa Koomson ordered the attack on the me-NDC Secretary

January 4, 2021

The Constituency Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Kasoa, Tuarik Amadu has insisted that the MP for the area Mavis Hawa Koomson ordered his guards to physically assault him.

Speaking to Kwabena Agyapong on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, he said may he be struck dead or be crashed through a road accident if his claims were false.

He told the host that the MP was personally there when the incident happened.

Tuarik Amadu said he is currently in a critical condition and wondering if he will recover from the trauma he has suffered.

He alleged that the MP paraded machomen made up of her security details and some members of the Invisible Forces thugs of the NPP to attack him.

He said he and some other party supporters were preparing to attend the fancy dress carnival organized in Winneba.

He told the host they were waiting at the market area when all of a sudden, two V vehicles drove and parked opposite where he was waiting with some party executives.

He said the MP went to stand beside some machines being used for a road project.

He added the MP later walked towards where they were standing and greeted them and told one of them why he was wearing white when it was the NPP that won the elections.

This he noted was said in a jovial way.

Later, the MP he noted complained about the way he (Tuarik) was criticizing her on social media.

According to him, the MP then asked whether he would not be happy to have her in her family.

Then he responded saying he was not in competition with any of her family members for her to make such comments.

Tuarik said the MP went ahead to say he cannot compare himself to her last born.

In responding to the MP, the bodyguard of the MP allegedly slapped him questioning why he was talking back at the MP.

The MP then instructed them to attack me and stop exchanging words with me.

“They attacked me and used benches to hit me. I am speaking the truth. If I am peddling lies, may I never reach my destination if I board a car. If I am peddling lies, may I choke when I drink water.”
