A former National Democratic Congress (NDC) member of parliament for Techiman South, Mr. Michael Adjei, is alleging that the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) is exploiting the judiciary to their advantage.
The former lawmaker is claiming that because the NPP has exploited the judicial system, they are quick to tell the NDC to go to court and seek redress over their refusal to accept the results declared by the EC.
Mr. Adjei was of the view that the judicial system in its current state is not favourable for the NDC.
He is therefore warning Ghanaians will begin to take the law into their own hands than going to court because they will not get justice in real-time.
Using the Techiman South as an example, he slammed the EC saying it worked with the government to rig the elections, failed to collate the parliamentary results, and yet,m declared in favour of the NPP’s candidate Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah.
Mr. Michael Adjei further warned the violence that occurred during the polls would no longer occur because they will arm themselves to the teeth and face anyone who will try to intimidate and attack them.
According to him, he fears for Ghana because people are losing trust in the systems and the people’s anger gets out of hand, we will see who would be safe in this country.
