A former Weija Gbawe New Patriotic Party (NPP), executive Alhaji Issah Seidu has called on the leadership of the party to resign.
He said the national executives have failed the NPP, and that has caused embarrassment in the 2020 elections.
Speaking to Kwabena Agyapong on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm he said General Secretary John Boadu is one person whose performance has been abysmal and caused the party serious damages.
He warned the party executives to pack their things and leave the party office.
He added they will deal with them should they fail to resign from office.
He was responding to the outcome of the yet to be declared results of the election of the Speaker of Parliament.
Provisional results have shown that Alban Bagbin has won the race with 138 votes with Prof. Aaron Oquaye polling 136 with one spoilt ballot.
This the former NPP officer said is unfortunate and the party’s leadership must be removed.
