The Ghana Armed Forces says it has launched a full-scale investigation into the alleged involvement of personnel in illegal mining activities.
GAF, in a statement, said it has taken notice of a story that alleged that some personnel have been caught in a tar providing security for illegal Chinese miners.
According to GAF, it does not condone such acts if it’s true.
It promised to deal with personnel who are found culpable.
