A group calling itself Volta New Patriotic Party Grassroots for Justice has demonstrated against the appointment of Dr. Archibald Lesta as the Volta Regional Minister.
The group last week kicked against the appointment of Dr. Archibald Letsa as the regional minister and served notice of a demonstration on should he be maintained.
The group asked the president not to appoint him and again because he was not deserving of the job.
The demonstration commenced from the Metro Mass yard (Sokode Lokoe) through to the Police Regional Headquarters, then proceeded to the Civic Centre.
They ended up at the Regional Party office.
They presented a petition to the party demanding that the appointment be revoked.
They claimed that Dr. Letsa did not contribute to the victory of the party hence he does not deserve his position.
They warned the minister would have to work alone should the president fail to revive his appointment.
They described him as a man with a poor working relationship with the people.
