President Akufo-Addo has announced the reduction of the cost for testing for travelers.
Travelers from ECOWAS member states would now pay $50 compared to the $150 paid originally.

In his Sunday, January 31, 2021 address, the President said the cost for non-ECOWAS remains $150.

Also, ECOWAS nationals who test positive for the virus will bear the cost for their treatment and isolation.
However, the government will bear the cost of treatment and isolation for Ghanaians who will test positive.
