Per the latest update provided by the Ghana Health Service, the country has recorded 147 covid-19 related deaths between January and February this year.
These figures represent cases from confirmed cases in the country.
Figures from persons who have died through complications and those who were not tested for the virus are yet to be disclosed.
Ghana currently has recorded 482 deaths and out of the figure, the number of deaths for the whole of 2020 was 335.
According to GHS, the rate of infections were still high despite the stable condition we have.
The stable condition has been attributed to the increasing adherence to the wearing of masks and other safety protocols.
As of February 6, 2021, we have recorded 675 new cases.
The country is recording not less than 700 cases daily.
