A political analyst and sustainable development expert Michael Ebo Amoah say it would be in the interest of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to present Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as a presidential candidate in 2024 or forget the presidency.
He suggested there is no other person who has a remarkable personality and well marketed and resourced than the second gentleman in the NPP.
Mr. Ebo Amoah said any person who will contest with Bawumia in the NPP’s presidential polls would not win.
He advised the Vice President to personally go to the President and show interest in carrying the government on his shoulders.
He said Dr. Bawumia should convince the President to hand over the governance to him because breaking the 8 years rest with him (Bawumia).
“Anyone who is candid and will speak the truth knows that Dr. Bawumia is the best bet for the NPP in 20024. You don’t need any research work to support this claim. Bawumia will beat anybody who will contest. Bawumia should take advantage of the governance so he will win the 2024 elections.”
