Founder and General Overseer of Perez Chapel Bishop Agyinasare, has rubbished claims that the covid-19 vaccines received by the government are the mark of the beast.
Addressing his church members last Sunday, the man of God said several conspiracy theories are surrounding the vaccines hence it was important for him to address his members.
He also disputed assertions that the vaccination was an attempt to kill people, adding before Ghanaians travel abroad, they are required to have a yellow card showing that they have been vaccinated against yellow fever, polio and other diseases.
”We travel with a yellow card, and we don’t believe everybody is going to kill us. So why should we think that everybody is going to kill us,” he stated.
He said if people need the yellow card to enter other countries, it is the same way very soon people would be required to have proof of the vaccination against covid-19 before entering other countries.
The respected man of God wondered why some Christians have claimed that the vaccination against covid-19 was the mark of the beast stressing, ”if carrying your yellow card is not the mark of the beast, why should one of the coronavirus be the mark of the beast?”
In explaining the mark of the beast, he said: ”Jesus will appear in the sky and those who are dead in Christ, would rise first, and those who are not dead would be transformed and be caught up with him [Jesus]. This is known as the rapture. When the Church is raptured, those that are left here; there would be a seven-year period called the tribulation. There is the early part of the tribulation, which is the first three and a half years, and then by the second three and a half years, they would be given the mark of the beast. The Church has not been raptured yet.”
Bishop Agyinasare insisted if the rapture has not happened, the mark of the beast will not happen.
”So the vaccination is not the mark of the beast.”
Meanwhile, he has indicated his readiness to take his jab and has encouraged his members to take it.
