A former deputy organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mahdi Muhammed Jibril has asked his party to reflect on the outcome of the 2020 presidential election and prepare for future elections.
Reacting to the approval of Hawa Koomson, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah and Dr. Afriyie Akoto as ministers-designate, he said this would not have happened if the party collated and protected its results.
According to him, they would not have been in this situation if they had not abandoned the EC headquarters and drink tea without biscuits.
He further slammed the party for not adding any number to that of the candidate and only followed him around on his campaign trail.
To him, this is the time for a bigger political reflection since there are several elections ahead of them.

Not defending the MPs but we many not have been here for those guys to be even been appointed as ministers who born dog
- If We had collated and protected our results at the national level
- If we had not held that early hour press conference on the evening of December 7th
- If we had not abandoned the EC collation center to take Tea without biscuit (may the soul of those who lost their lifes at constituency collation center rest in peace)
- If we were not following the flagbearer everywhere during the campaign instead of bringing on board our own numbers to that of JMs ( I salute General?)
This is the time for a bigger political reflection for there are more elections ahead of us.
