Parliament has approved 16 other ministerial nominees recommended by the Appointments Committee.
The 16 nominees include Godfred Dame, the Attorney General and Minister for Justice designate; Ursula Owusu-Ekuful minister-designate for Communications and Digitalization and Kwaku Agyeman-Manu, minister-designate for Health.
The Minority on the Vetting Committee had raised issues with these nominees.
However, the Chair of the Committee Joe Osei-Wusu on Thursday told the Plenary that the nominees have been approved by consensus.
The approval was after the Appointments Committee presented a 139-paged report on the 16 nominees to the House on Thursday, March 4, 2021.
Meanwhile, the only nominee left to be vetted in the first batch of appointees nominated is the Finance Minister-designate Ken Ofori-Atta.
