Minister-Designate for Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta has assured Ghanaians that he is fit for his job as Minister.
He was responding to Haruna Iddrisu, the Minority Leader, on whether he was fit for the job as Finance Minister.
The nominee is his, response, said serving as a minister is a duty that comes with passion and energy, and he was prepared for that.
”I can assure you that that the enthusiasm is there, the strength is there and the excitement for the future continues. Public Service is a duty that has its own energy and passion. There’II be no lax in the intensity of the work that we have to do,” he noted.
Mr. Ofori-Atta travelled to the United States of America for a special medical review.
After recovering from Covid-19 last December, Mr. Ofori-Atta suffered medical complications, which doctors advised, require further interventions not currently available in Ghana.
He returned recently from the medical trip after the successful review.
