President Akufo-Addo has in his Easter message to Ghanaians to continue adhering to the Covid-19 protocols.
He said the virus was still with us and Ghanaians must not let their guard down.
He said some 600,000 persons have been vaccinated with a total of 20 million expected to be vaccinated.
The President said the government expects that some 300,000 vaccines procured would come in for deployment.
He said while the vaccination is going on, our active cases have reduced but we are not out of the woods yet.
He charged Ghanaians to avoid the merrymaking because there would be no picnics, parties, conventions gatherings at the beaches.
Church activities should not exceed 2 hours whereas cinemas and theatrical performances are still banned, he added.
Persons who violate these laws would be punished, he warned.
