Two suspected armed robbers have robbed a mobile money vendor and some electrical shops at Kasoa Opeikuma in the Central Region.
Rainbow Radio’s Nana Yaw Asare indicated that the robbers fired gunshots scaring their victims.
He said the robbers after robbing the mobile money vendors complained the money was not enough.
They reportedly slapped one of the vendors before taking the money away.
Meanwhile, it has emerged that a third person who was with the vendors had seen the suspected robbers and bolted with the money before they could carry out their activities.
No one was shot, he added.
It would be recalled that a forty-year-old man was recently shot and robbed of his money after a transaction at the bank.
Residents have called for intensified police patrol in the area to help minimize criminal activities.
