The Ministry of Health says it was committed to ensuring that people who use tobacco stop.
The Ministry in a statement to commemorate the World NO Tobacco Day called on stakeholders in the industry to commit to the quit as the theme for this year.
According to the statement, 8 million persons are killed annually through tobacco with 7 million being direct use and one million being indirect use.
