A 14-year-old boy, Daniel Homegah, has allegedly committed suicide at Nuanua Tutuda in the Assin South District of the Central Region.
The deceased is said to be a class six pupil of the Nuanua Tutuda D/A Basic School.
Narrating the incident on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, Oheneba Ambrose said the minor was found hanging on a weighing scale in his father’s room.
He said the boy had earlier gone for money to buy soap to wash his dirty clothes, but his absence from the house got his parents worried.
An auntie of the boy later discovered him hanging in the room.
It remains unclear what caused the boy to hang himself.
The Police have since begun an investigation into the matter.
