Ghanaian Divison two side, Cheetah FC on Saturday, June 19, 2021, set commissioned their new Ultra Modern AstroTurf at Senya Bereku.
The facility is the biggest Astroturf with the longest grass (600MM long FIFA quality).
The President of Cheetah Football Club, Abdul Hayye-Yartey speaking to Rainbow Sports disclosed that the AstroTurf is not only for the club but for Ghana Football, especially juvenile football.
According to him, he named the pitch after his father Yartel Okoso Park ( Predators Den) because of his contribution in ensuring that the AstroTurf was successfully constructed.
”The pitch is not only for Cheetah FC. It is for Ghana Football especially juvenile football. People who want to organize juvenile football competitions should be rest assured that the pitch would be made available to them,” he said.
Cheetah FC, a second division club in Ghana in 2020, unveiled its Cheetah Direct Store, the official club store, in a grand ceremony at its outfit in Kasoa, Central Region.
It is the only club to own a Club store.
