The Ga-Adangbe Youth Association has declared its support for the Greater Accra Regional Minister Henry Quartey.
According to them, no amount of threats whether spiritual or physical against the Minister would work.
President of the Association, Nii Ayaafio Tetteh I addressing a press conference said they will support the Minister to succeed in his ‘Making Accra Work Again’ campaign.
He said they have also gathered that some individuals have planned to attack him (Henry Quartey) spiritually and physically but these attacks would not yield results.
The traditional leader told journalists today Tuesday, June 22, 2021, that out of all the regional ministers we have had in the past, Mr. Henry Quartey stands out tall and must be supported at all cost.
He noted that his approach to work and his dedication to his constitutional mandate is exceptional and such a person must not be threatened by anyone.
He called on traditional leaders in the Greater Accra Region to support the Minister to succeed.
He said all traditional leaders in the region especially the Ga Traditional Council must support the Minister.
He posited that the relocation of the onion traders is not a bad idea as they have described it but rather an initiative that will help make the capital work again.
He also asked assembly members in the region to support the Minister.
He told them to move with him whenever he comes to their jurisdiction to work.
Without their support, the Minister will not succeed, he added.
