A sports journalist, Adam Shaibu of Obourba FM in the Eastern Region has met his untimely death after the vehicle he was traveling in got involved in an accident.
The accident occurred on Sunday, June 27, 2021, on the Nkawkaw-New Abirem road.
The sports journalist was in the company of three others who were returning to Nkawkaw after covering a division 2 football match between Okwawu City and Okwahu United at Yayaso near New Abirem.
Rainbowradioonline.com has gathered that the taxi in which they were traveling somersaulted several times after the driver lost control.
Three other occupants including the driver are currently receiving treatment after suffering severe injuries.
