July 1, 2021

She said when the NPP was in opposition, every demonstration meant everything to them but today, they are preventing people from demonstrating.

She quizzed why the NPP is blocking Ghanaians from demanding a better state.

In 2015, an estimated 1500 Ghanaians went on a vigil in the capital Accra to protest the worsening power cuts in the country.

The demonstration was initiated by actress Yvonne Nelson and some other artistes was under the hashtag #dumsormuststop.

The protesters at the time carried candles, lanterns, rechargeable lamps and local kerosene tin lamps known as ‘bobo’ to drum home their campaign.
