The controversial anti-LGBT Bill that seeks to criminalize same-sex relationship in Ghana has been gazetted.
The House is expected to have the Bill laid for first reading on 2nd August 2021.
The MP for Ningo-Prampram who is leading some seven other MPs to sponsor the bill took to Twitter to inform Ghanaians that the bill has been successfully gazetted.
“The Bill has duly been gazetted and sent to the Business Committee of the House.
“It is great to see the Bill has been programmed to be laid for first reading on Monday, 2nd August. Our eyes remain fixed on the prize.”
