The Greater Accra Regional Co-ordinating Council has asked residents in the resident to strictly adhere to the Covid-19 safety protocols.
In view of this, all security councils have been directed to embark on routine checks of public places including schools, lorry stations, markets and other facilities.
Persons who breach the protocols are to be arrested and prosecuted, the statement from the Council said.
All Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies have also been tasked to conduct sensitization programs to educate the public about the virus and they need to observe the safety [protocols.
