Farmers living at Kofi Asare, a farming community in the Upper West Akim District of the Eastern Region, have appealed to authorities to repair the deplorable roads in the community.
They also want authorities to repair a damaged bridge in the community.
The farmers told Rainbow Radio’s Collins Bening that they would continue to remind executives of the party in the area and President Akufo-Addo to address their concerns.
The farmers said the challenge is affecting the movement of farm produce since the crops are destroyed in the process.
Drivers they say, are unable to move to the community due to the situation.
According to two former assembly members for the area Mr. Alfred Ogum and Mr. Kaizer, they had sent several complaints to authorities but the issue has not been resolved.
They alleged that the bridge had been damaged since 2018.
