Ghana’s COVID-19 death toll has crossed the 1000 mark. The figure is currently at 1,008.
This was captured by latest update by the Ghana Health Service.
The country has also recorded 596 new cases of the virus thus pushing the active case count to 7,016.
Out of this, 148 and 61 are in severe and critical conditions respectively.
Since the outbreak, the country has recorded 117,636 cases 109, 612 recoveries.
