The Ashanti Regional Security Council has authorised the Regional Police Command through Motor Traffic and Transport Department to restore sanity on the streets of Ashanti Region.
Per the directive, the MTTD has been asked to ensure the strict enforcement of all traffic regulations with effect from Wednesday, 1st September 2021.
The move is to check indiscipline on our roads by riders of tricycle and motorbikes.
The MTTD has been asked to enforce the Motor Traffic Regulations Act.
The Police will therefore check aboboyaa, motorcycles, riding without a license, and other road regulations.
