The Northern Region Health Directorate has received some 11,000 doses of Astrazeneca for use as a second dose primarily for Health workers plus a few non-health workers.
The Directorate stated that their health workers who have already taken their shot of the vaccine would take their second jab starting today at various health districts.
However, non-health workers who took the 1st dose will also be targeted on a first come first serve basis.
Aside from that, the Directorate has also taken delivery of some 1000 doses of Johnson and Johnson vaccines.
The one-shot Johnson and Johnson vaccine will also be administered at the Regional Health Directorate vaccination room.
The Johnson and Johnson would be given to those who have not received any shot of the vaccine.
