A final year student of Jachie Pramso in the Bosomtwe district of the Ashanti region, Mary Amoako, 19, has been lashed by the headmaster for giving her jacket to a male student who wad punished by the school.
The student received several lashes at her back by the headmaster because she was generous enough to lend her jacket to a male student who showed up for class without a uniform.
The student narrating her ordeal said the headmaster asked the boy to remove his shirt and go half-naked to the dormitory and wear a uniform before he comes back to the classroom.
She later gave her jacket to the male student to wear after the headmaster had ceased the boy’s shirt and left.
The headmaster later discovered the female student had given her jacket to the boy following which he lashed her several times.
