”We have therefore resolved that a proper update on our road must be given not later than 20th September 2021. We also want to see a contractor on our road to start and complete the project within a reasonable timeline.”
The petition said Hon. Amoako Attah, the people of Assin Akropong and wurakese have suffered a lot during this rainy season due to the bad state of our road. After several efforts to those in authority for why the construction company (D.H.M) has abandoned the project and also all our plea had yielded nothing to bring back the company to site.
It has become prudent to demand immediate action to make an effort to bring a new construction company to fix our road for us as soon as possible to save the lives of the people.
The current state of our road seems to be the most dangerous road with unimaginable life taking effects on we the people.
Enough is enough, we cannot sit idle for our road to destroy our business, reducing the life span of our vehicles, serious health conditions including the rate of hardship in the community due to the bad state of our road.”
